KOBE Bryant has called his one-game suspension for flailing his arms after a shot 'ridiculous'.
The Los Angeles Lakers star said: 'I don't want to have the reputation of a dirty player. For them to try to make an example out of me is upsetting.'
He was suspended for one game by the National Basketball Association on Wednesday, his second penalty for that action in a little more than a month.
The incident came with 58 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of the Lakers' 107-117 double-overtime loss to Minnesota on Tuesday.
Bryant struck Timberwolves guard Marko Jaric after taking a shot.
